Crabapples II (Malus sp.)

Crabapples are probably the most common flowering trees in New Haven. I’ve posted about them before (, but here’s another series of photos of the pair standing right outside the apartment building. These were also by far the ones with the largest fruit, which ripened to a lovely maroon and would smell rather… fruity, for want of a better word, when they littered the ground afterwards. One major flaw with this series is that I don’t have a good photograph of the ripe or fallen crabapples- trust me, the answer to whether or not the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini takes good photos is a resounding no.
